Pork with Herb Cream Sauce

Pork with Herb Cream Sauce (Pressure Cooker) Recipe

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Cooking time: 10 minutes on high pressure

Ingredients:

  • 25 grams butter
  • 1 small onion, peeled and chopped
  • 750 grams pork filler, cut into 2.5cm cubes
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh sage
  • 300 ml chicken stock salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 150 ml single cream

Directions:

If fresh herbs are not available dried herbs can be substituted. Allow 1 teaspoon each of parsley, thyme and sage.

  1. Melt butter in a cooker.
  2. Fry the onion on the butter until it becomes translucent.
  3. Brown the pork on the butter-onion mixture.

Mix in the herbs and chicken stock.

  1. Season with salt and pepper and stir well.
  2. Close the cooker and allow to cook for 10 minutes on high. Bring it to low after 10 minutes.
  3. Mix in the cream while heat is on low, allowing it to heat thoroughly but do not boil.
  4. Taste and add more season if desired.
  5. Serve hot with steamed rice.
