
Pork with Herb Cream Sauce (Pressure Cooker) Recipe
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes on high pressure
Ingredients:
- 25 grams butter
- 1 small onion, peeled and chopped
- 750 grams pork filler, cut into 2.5cm cubes
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh sage
- 300 ml chicken stock salt
- freshly ground black pepper
- 150 ml single cream
Directions:
If fresh herbs are not available dried herbs can be substituted.
Allow 1 teaspoon each of parsley, thyme and sage.
- Melt butter in a cooker.
- Fry the onion on the butter until it becomes translucent.
- Brown the pork on the butter-onion mixture.
Mix in the herbs and chicken stock.
- Season with salt and pepper and stir well.
- Close the cooker and allow to cook for 10 minutes on high. Bring
it to low after 10 minutes.
- Mix in the cream while heat is on low, allowing it to heat
thoroughly but do not boil.
- Taste and add more season if desired.
- Serve hot with steamed rice.
